How I Train:

If I was to use labels for my training methods, they would lean closer to Force Free or Positive Reinforcement trainers. I utilize different rewards the dog finds motivating and use that to encourage good behaviors. I help owners to learn to set boundaries and expectations for their dogs during training. All while watching the dogs emotions and helping the dog be comfortable. I do not use physical force or corrections when training. Each dog and owner have different dynamics and will utilize different training gear to make sure the dog and others are safe. 

Guarentees:

I do not offer any guarantee of our training. The reason is behavior is not black and white. Behavior variables change and are influenced by so many outside factors. I can not guarantee your behavior, so it is irresponsible for me to guarantee the behavior training of your dog.

​What I can guarantee is that I will be upfront and honest about my training plan and goals. I will work with you to help achieve those goals and adjust expectation. I will continue to educate myself and learn so I can share that with my clients. I can guarantee I will be kind, have empathy and show respect to you and your dog. 

Payment & Refund Policies:

Full payment is due at the time of booking. I accept most major credit and debit cards via Square, as well as cash and check. Payment plans for private training packages may be available through AfterPay for clients who qualify.

All services and training packages are non-refundable once purchased. Training services are time-based and availability is reserved at the time of purchase, regardless of when sessions are scheduled or used.

All lesson packages must be used within the timeframe specified for that service. Unused sessions expire and are forfeited after the expiration period. Packages are non-transferable unless approved in writing by ROC Animal Training.

Communication:

I ask that you email me as first point of contact. It is just me who runs the business as well as doing all the training. If you do need to talk on the phone, you can ask that I set up a time to talk on the phone so we are not playing phone tag. 

Cancelations/
Rescheduling:

Cancelation of lessons or consults within 24 hours of the appointment will count towards their session and be charged in full. Appointments can be rescheduled once if more than a 24 hour notice is given. If there needs to be an additional reschedule then a new payment for the amount of that session will need to be made. 

Removal from Training:

Trainer, at his/her sole discretion, may remove a pet from the lesson if a hazard or threat of any nature to any other animal or person is present. No refund will be given under such circumstances.
